Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian has described the firmly established virtual currency ecosystem as „crypto spring“, emphasizing the strength of development surrounding significant applications of blockchain technology.
In an interview with Yahoo Finance published on May 23, Ohanian stated: „We really see crypto spring right now in terms of high-level engineers, product developers, designers, building real solutions on the blockchain.
„We’re seeing really top-notch talent building on this infrastructure […] and that’s the most interesting part for me,“ he added.
„Bitcoin is not for everyone and that’s fine,“ says VanEck executive.
The crypts are here to stay
Ohanian revealed that he has maintained „a percentage of [his] wealth in cryptomonies for quite some time, adding: „I still feel pretty good about it, I don’t want to change much from it.

Reddit to launch tokenized rewards at Ethereum
Earlier this month, Reddit launched its crypto-based Community Points reward system on the Ethereum’s Rinkeby test network (ETH), announcing plans to migrate to the Ethereum’s core network by the end of the year.
The points were deployed via r/Cryptocurrency and r/fortniteBR in the form of „Moons“ and „Bricks“ respectively from 13 to 15 May.
