Atschel
Since July 2002, the traditional Appelwine-restaurant “Atschel” has been run by Stefan Kaden who is also one of the managers of the neighbouring "Fichtekränzi.

After extensive renovation, the Atschl has regained its old glamour. Large brass-lamps and long tables on wooden floors characterize the new Atschel.

The restaurant has a lot of light and a cozy atmosphere. During the summer, the Atschel also has a lovely garden which fits up to 140 guests.

The menu consists of mostly traditional Frankfurt-style food as well as seasonal meals. Everything is fresh and house-made. Guests also find fresh venison and organic trout, different salads, during the asparagus season all kinds of fresh asparagus and so on.

The daily menu is written on a large board on the wall opposite the entrance. On the gantry, you will find a large variety of wines from the region, but also from France and Spain. This variety is topped by draught Pils or beer from the Bavarian region of Franken.
